It goes without saying that I can't tell if pressure is working because it just sees a constant full press, but I doubt it's working either. I'm thinking that this is a software issue since the lag is not apparent with any other input method and I'm wondering if there is some sort of fix around this. However, when I move the cursor with the tablet pen, it follows the pen like a dog on a leash, rather than instantaneously kinda like the cursor has some sort of inertia.

When I move the cursor with the touchpad, trackpad, or even with my regular tablet, it moves instantaneously. Pen Lag? From the вЂњPen OptionsвЂќ tab, select вЂњPress and HoldвЂќ and click вЂњSettingsвЂ¦вЂќ.

Open the Control Panel and type вЂњtabletвЂќ into the search field.

The solution for this is to disable two settings that are on by default in Win7: вЂњPress and HoldвЂќ and вЂњFlicksвЂќ. When using some applications (tested: GIMP) my Wacom Graphire tablet lags and doesnвЂ™t track short repeated brush strokes.
